Artist Kathy Marsh worked with Hannahstown Senior community group as they discussed the environment, ecology and local wildlife. The Hannahstown centre had funding from Groundwork NI for the development of a community garden. The participants felt that some exterior wall mosaics would complement the community garden and highlight the local wildlife in the surrounding area.  The workshops became very industrious with the goal of a site specific work for their garden. As it was senior ladies groups many comments and stories were passed around as they worked towards the final piece.
