This is Me - Polish Saturday School

This group of young people from the polish community in Northern Ireland worked together with New Belfast facilitators to create a stop motion animation that tells the story of, Geralt; The Witcher. A fantasy character well established in contemporary Polish youth culture The Witcher is a solitary being, a dragon slayer, who roams the country looking for monsters to battle. In this adventure he comes to the aid of a village in distress who in return accept him into their community. The young people were guided through the process developing a storyboard, making sets and models and recording the voiceover both in Polish and English to represent the two cultures central to their identity.
