Extract the contents of the zip file to C:\Program Files\Audacity
How to record and save your files
- Select the 'Microphone' from the drop-down menu.

2. When your microphone is setup and you're ready to begin recording, click the record button.

3. Before saving the audio, you'll need to change the defalt settings in Audacity to allow the MP3 to be saved at a higher quality.
Go to 'File Formats' and change the MP3 setting to 320, then press 'OK'.

4. Save your file as an mp3 - 'Export As MP3'. If you need to edit the file yourself before sending it to us, then 'Export As WAV' while you edit the audio; only save as MP3 when you are ready to upload it.

And that's it!
New Belfast will edit the audio for you, we only ask that you name the file with your name (or school name). You may also upload a text file with a transcript of the poetry; ensure that any files have the same name as the audio file!
