Start at the Albert Clock on the junction of Victoria Street and High Street Head down Victoria Street and turn left onto Waring Street Continue along Waring Street and turn right onto Donegall Street and continue until St Anne’s Cathedral is on your right. Writers’ Square is now on your left. Continue straight through Writer’s Square by the tourist office, coming out on North Street, turn right. Continue down Royal Avenue. Castle Court Shopping Centre will be on your right Continue down Royal Avenue to Castle Junction At Castle Junction turn left onto High Street. Continue along High Street until you reach Corn Market on the right hand side. Turn right into Corn Market. Continue to the sculpture. Turn left onto Ann Street. A little way down on the left hand side is “Love and Death”, the former location of the Capstan Bar. Turn around and head back across Cornmarket onto Castle Lane. Follow Castle Lane until you reach Donegall Place. Turn left. On your left hand side as you face City Hall you will find M&S. This is the building where the Waterboard office used to be housed. Cross over the road to City Hall Turn right at the front of City Hall and head along Wellington Place until you reach College Square Turn left follow College Square as it becomes Great Victoria Street. Just past the Crown Bar on the left hand side is Amelia Street Continue down Great Victoria Street until you meet the one way system. Follow it round onto Bruce Street. Continue along Bruce Street to the junction follow the road round to the left when you meet the Dublin Road. At the next junction cross onto Ormeau Avenue. Continue along Ormeau Avenue. The Ormeau Baths Gallery is on your right. Continue to the end of Ormeau Avenue until you reach the junction with Cromac Street and the Ormeau Road. Turn left and walk down Cromac Street as far as the traffic lights at the next junction. Cross over to St. George’s Market |
