Masque - Denmark Street Community Centre Dance Project
Twenty dynamic young “rockets” from the Lower Shankill area attended a series of dance and movement workshop sessions with performer Sheena Bleakney at the Denmark Street Community Centre. Over a period of eight weeks they played many games, had an awful lot of fun and learned two dance routines to some pretty cool music. See our pics and film clips to see how hard they worked!

Leaders from Denmark Street were so impressed with the young people’s achievements they successfully sought funding to carry on working with Sheena. As a result, the group will be performing “an energetic storyboard dance off” at the Crescent Arts Centre’s prestigious Day of Dance on Saturday 30th October! All at New Belfast wish them well…break a leg, guys!
