Call For Artists

New Belfast Community Arts Initiative is calling for artists from a variety of artistic backgrounds to facilitate our community arts workshop programme across Northern Ireland. Over the past years we have been working mostly with community groups and schools based in Belfast. We are now planning to reach participants outside Belfast and we are recruiting for facilitators available to work in cities / towns across the province.

We are looking for creative, dynamic and innovative practitioners with an approachable attitude, a passion for community arts, and experience of working on arts projects in community and school settings.

New Belfast is committed to support communities through the arts using different art forms, including film, photography, fashion, sculpture, textile art, poetry, creative writing, carnival arts, dance, drama, music, and mural making.

Artists interested in working as facilitators on our arts workshop programme, are invited to submit a CV which should include a short profile (100 words max), information about the artist’s expertise in particular art forms and mediums, and his / her experience of working in community arts.

CVs should be submitted no later than Friday 19 February via email to francesca@newbelfastarts.org or in the post to
