With Autumn really setting in, we in New Belfast are preparing for a memorable series of events and projects.
Having taken part in the very successful Rise Up and Write poetry workshops as part of the Belfast City Hall re-opening celebrations and the very succesful Halloween workshops at City Hall, we are now looking forward to offering a 54 community group programme across Belfast.

Broadcast yourself to a live audience!
Each month at the Black Box café, verbal artists are invited to come together to present their live and original words to an eager audience. Each month will have a theme set by a member of the previous audience (but as this is the first month we are setting the theme: “Crisis, what crisis?!”)

New Belfast Community Arts Initiative's Poetry in Motion project presents Woodwork; a series of literary events hosted in the Dark Horse, on the corner of Hill Street and Commercial Court, as part of Sundays in The City. Our programme bigins on Sunday 21st March at 6pm and continues on Sunday 18th April and Sunday 16th May.
